Happiness Is Great Curry And Great Company!

Cooking since the age of 10, I became immersed in my Indian Culture and found a passion for the foods that were the cornerstone to our traditions. I became a pro across the board, from Curries, Samosas, to Indian Kebabs. I learned to use an array of spices and techniques to create curries that transform any meat or vegetable dish into a conversation piece.


Hi I’m Bali Mendels,  I am Indian born and raised from England and at the age of 19 I moved to the United States, what I had noticed is the Indian food is very different here at the restaurants, it tasted too sweet or watery whereas Indian food in England is authentic, not sweet or watered down so I had never been a big fan of eating out at Indian restaurants in the US.

Although I can make my own Indian curries, sometimes it’s nice to cheat an take a break and buy a grocery store Indian curry sauce in a jar but what I had also learned,  those don’t taste authentic either or too sweet or has chemicals and food allergies,  I am not a fan of eating Indian food that contains chemicals or allot of food allergens, there is no authentic Indian Punjabi curry sauces on a shelf and not to mention zero chemicals with all natural fresh ingredients so I did a thing!

At the age of 43 I finally was able to get my sauces to pass. I succeeded, it wasn’t easy, lots of push back since this particular curry sauce could never be passed without chemicals, Any manufacturing company I worked with stated it wasn’t possible but there was one particular company that rubbed me the wrong way, he was talking down to me, kept raising the cost on me, told me not even an Indian person from India can pass this without chemicals etc. etc. , it's extremely hard but continued raising the price on me which in all honestly challenged me even more to make this happen, so I told this final last manufacture I will take my business elsewhere an took it upon myself to actually make it happen, also if you know us Indians!  we cook in large quantities, my jars are so concentrated they can feed 8 to 10 people following the instructions correctly, a grocery store curry never did that for us, I felt it was too watered down with not enough flavors

I’m proud to say that I was able to pass the actual original Punjabi curry sauce with zero chemical preservatives in a jar with lots of mouthwatering flavors!  Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Nut Free and Soy Free. 

As proud Indian Woman Owned Business, I’m looking forward to sharing my sauces with the world so everyone can eat a real Indian curry with no chemicals, my vision is to see my curries on the tables of families across the world- whether they are enjoying a quiet evening meal, or hosting generations for the holidays, making authentic real curry with no worries!
